- Ability to create prepress department
- Defining prepress standards and developing systems and processes to maintain the standards
- Developing operational mapping for inter-department synergies
- Build capabilities and efficiencies through Skill Development of the prepress team
- Planning, Creating & implementing all Prepress Operational activities
- Developing and Maintaining relationships with companies’ external vendors (plate makers and cylinder engraver, prepress software and system suppliers, etc)
- Introducing strong colour management standards in the company and advising on latest state-of the art technologies in the Gravure, Offset and Flexo print processes to ensure high quality output.
- Integrating processes and work ways with external vendors
- Creating and implementing strategies in order to increase RFT to meet the client SLA.
- Contribution to continuous process improvements
- Analysis of External and Internal Rejections and taking corrective and preventive action for Internal and External Rejections
- Work very closely with factories on complete process from Plate / Cylinder making to Packaging Print
- Aligning with the operational practices in the factory and providing improvement standards to achieve high quality consistent output
- Trouble shooting and hand holding factories to achieve the desire results
- Conducting periodic Press Audits at the factories to ensure machine profiling and calibrations are maintained.
- Responsible for the Quality of final output of the Printed Artwork at the factories end
- Actively participate in On-boarding of New clients
- Provide Print and Technical Management advice to the clients
